The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(3), and 45(1) and (5) of the Housing Act 1988(1), makes the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Assured Tenancies and Agricultural Occupancies (Forms) (England) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2016 and come into force on 1st December 2016.
2.—(1) The Assured Tenancies and Agricultural Occupancies (Forms) (England) Regulations 2015(2) are amended as follows.
(2) For Form No. 3 in the Schedule to those Regulations substitute the Form No. 3 as set out in the Schedule to these Regulations.

These Regulations amend the Assured Tenancies and Agricultural Occupancies (Forms) (England) Regulations 2015 (SI 2015/620) (“the principal regulations”).
Regulation 2 substitutes a new Form No. 3 for the equivalent form prescribed in the principal regulations.
Amendments have been made to Form No. 3 to reflect the new ground for possession under section 8 of the Housing Act 1988, ground 7B, which was introduced by section 41 of the Immigration Act 2016.
1988 c.50. Section 8(3) was amended by paragraph 1 of Schedule 1 to the Housing Act 1996 (c.52) and section 97(2)(a) of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 (c.12).
