In exercise of the powers conferred by section 45(1) and (5)(a) of the Transparency of Lobbying, Non-Party Campaigning and Trade Union Administration Act 2014(1), the Lord President of the Council makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Transparency of Lobbying, Non-Party Campaigning and Trade Union Administration Act 2014 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2015.
2. Part 1 of the Transparency of Lobbying, Non-Party Campaigning and Trade Union Administration Act 2014 (registration of consultant lobbyists), so far as not already in force, comes into force on 1st April 2015.

This Order is the third commencement order made under the Transparency of Lobbying, Non-Party Campaigning and Trade Union Administration Act 2014 (“the Act”). The first was the Transparency of Lobbying, Non-Party Campaigning and Trade Union Administration Act 2014 (Commencement and Transitional Provision No. 1) Order 2014(2) and the second was the Transparency of Lobbying, Non-Party Campaigning and Trade Union Administration Act 2014 (Commencement No.2 and Transitional Provision) Order 2014(3).
Article 2 brings all the remaining provisions of Part 1 of the Act (registration of consultant lobbyists) into force on the 1st April 2015. Some of the provisions in Part 1 of the Act which are commenced by article 2 were commenced for certain purposes on Royal Assent, and are therefore commenced by this Order for remaining purposes.
