Coming into force in accordance with article 1
The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 24(2) of the Legislative and Regulatory Reform Act 2006(1).
In accordance with section 24(9) of that Act, a draft of this Order has been laid before, and approved by a resolution of, each House of Parliament.
2006 c. 51. The consultation requirements in section 24(6) do not apply to an order specifying regulatory functions of the Marine Management Organisation as functions to which sections 21 and 22 of the Act apply. This is by virtue of section 3(2) of the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009 (c. 23).
