The Secretary of State is designated(1) for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972(2) in relation to the common agricultural policy of the European Community.
Exercising the powers conferred on him by that section save in relation to fees charged by the Secretary of State, and, in relation to such fees, exercising the powers conferred on him by section 56(1) and (2) of the Finance Act 1973(3) and with the consent of the Treasury, he makes the following Regulations—
