The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 201(2) of the Licensing Act 2003(1), hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Licensing Act 2003 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2003.
2. The following provisions of the Licensing Act 2003 shall come into force on 10th September 2003—
(a)section 155 (confiscation of sealed containers of alcohol);
(b)section 199 (repeals) in so far as it relates to the entries in paragraph (c) below; and
(c)the entries in Schedule 7 relating to—
(i)the Confiscation of Alcohol (Young Persons) Act 1997(2); and
(ii)section 12 of the Criminal Justice and Police Act 2001(3).
