These Rules make certain amendments to the Insolvency (Scotland) Rules 1986 (“the principal Rules”) which set out the detailed procedures for the conduct of insolvency proceedings under the Insolvency Act 1986 relating to companies which the courts in Scotland have jurisdiction to wind up.
These Rules come into force on 11th January 1988 and apply to all insolvency proceedings to which the principal Rules apply on and after that date whether or not those proceedings have commenced before, on or after that date.
