The Lord Chancellor and the Lord Advocate, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 53(1) of the Civil Jurisdiction and Judgments Act 1982 and paragraph 3 of Part I of Schedule 13 to that Act, hereby make the following Order:—
1. This Order may be cited as the Civil Jurisdiction and Judgments Act 1982 (Commencement No.2) Order 1986.
2. Section 35(1) of the Civil Jurisdiction and Judgments Act 1982 shall enter into force on 14th November 1986.

This Order brings into force section 35(1) of the Civil Jurisdiction and Judgments Act 1982. That section provides for Schedule 10 to the Act to have effect; Schedule 10 makes various amendments to the Foreign Judgments (Reciprocal Enforcement) Act 1933 (c. 13) which will allow judgments of all, and not just superior, foreign courts to be recognised in the circumstances provided for in that Act.
