The Secretary of State, in exercise of his powers under section 41 of the Iron and Steel Act 1949 as revived and amended by section 31 of the Iron and Steel Act 1967 and section 8 of the Iron and Steel Act 1969 and all other powers in that behalf enabling him, and after consultation with the British Steel Corporation and such organisations as appear to him to be representative of persons concerned, hereby makes the following regulations, a draft of which has been laid before Parliament and has been approved by resolution of each House of Parliament in accordance with the said section 41:—
