Territorial extent and application
- All measures in this Act apply to England, Wales and Scotland as employment matters are not devolved in relation to Wales and Scotland.
- Employment matters are devolved in Northern Ireland. It will be for the Northern Ireland Assembly to decide whether similar provisions should apply in Northern Ireland.
- The matters to which the provisions of the Act relate are not within the legislative competence of the Scottish Parliament, the National Assembly for Wales or the Northern Ireland Assembly, and no legislative consent motion is being sought in relation to any provision of the Bill. If there are amendments relating to matters within the legislative competence of the Scottish Parliament, the National Assembly for Wales or the Northern Ireland Assembly, the consent of the relevant devolved legislature(s) will be sought for the amendments.
