Amendments to the Energy Information Regulations 2011

9.—(1) Schedule 1 to the Energy Information Regulations 2011(1) (product-specific measures) is amended as follows.

(2) In paragraph 1—

(a)in the opening words, omit “from the date in column 3”;

(b)in the table—

(i)omit column 3;

(ii)omit the entry relating to “Household electric ovens”;

(iii)for the entry relating to “Household refrigerators, freezers and their combinations” substitute—

Refrigerating appliancesCommission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/2016 of 11 March 2019 supplementing Regulation (EU) 2017/1369 of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to energy labelling of refrigerating appliances and repealing Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1060/2010(2);

(iv)in relation to the products listed in the following table, for the existing text in column 2 substitute the text in column 2 of the following table—

Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 392/2012 originally supplemented Directive 2010/30/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19 May 2010 on the indication by labelling and standard product information of the consumption of energy and other resources by energy-related products (“Directive 2010/30/EU”). Directive 2010/30/EU was repealed by Regulation (EU) 2017/1369 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 4 July 2017 setting a framework for energy labelling and repealing Directive 2010/30/EU (“Regulation (EU) 2017/1369”), which provided for references to Directive 2010/30/EU to be construed as references to Regulation (EU) 2017/1369 and to be read in accordance with the correlation table set out in Annex 2.
