1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Upper Tribunal for Scotland (Social Security Rules of Procedure) Regulations 2018 and the Rules contained in the schedule may be cited as the Upper Tribunal for Scotland Social Security Rules of Procedure 2018.
(2) These Regulations come into force on 22nd November 2018.
(3) In these Regulations, “the 2018 Act” means the Social Security (Scotland) Act 2018(1).
2. The Upper Tribunal for Scotland Rules of Procedure 2016(2) do not apply to proceedings before the Upper Tribunal relating to the exercise by the Scottish Ministers of functions conferred on them by the 2018 Act or by regulations made under that Act.
3. The Rules in the schedule of these Regulations apply to all proceedings before the Upper Tribunal relating to the exercise by the Scottish Ministers of functions conferred on them by the 2018 Act or by regulations made under that Act.
