The Department of the Environment makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred on it by sections 153(9), 154(9) and 247(1) of the Planning Act (Northern Ireland) 2011(1).
1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Planning (Amount of Fixed Penalty) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015 and shall come into operation on 6th July 2015.
(2) In these Regulations “the 2011 Act” means the Planning Act (Northern Ireland) 2011.
2. The amount prescribed for the purposes of—
(a)section 153(9) of the 2011 Act is £2,000; and
(b)section 154(9) of the 2011 Act is £300.

These Regulations prescribe the amount of the penalty payable under a fixed penalty notice served under section 153(9) or 154(9) of the Planning Act (Northern Ireland) 2011.
