(This note is not part of the Regulations.)
These regulations amend the Gaming (Bingo) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1987 by increasing the maximum charge which may be made in respect of gaming by way of bingo on bingo club premises from £6·60 to £8 (exclusive of value added tax). The new reference to value added tax does not indicate a change in the position on this tax but has been included for the purpose of clarification. The Gaming (Bingo) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1995 are revoked as a consequence of these regulations.
