Adran 18 – Cychwyn a dehongli

38.Mae is-adran (1) yn diffinio'r term “awdurdod lleol” at ddibenion y Mesur.

39.Mae is-adrannau (2) a (3) yn darparu bod adran 17 i 19 yn dod i rym ddau fis ar ôl i'r Mesur gael ei gymeradwyo gan Ei Mawrhydi yn y Cyfrin Gyngor a bod gweddill y darpariaethau yn cael eu dwyn i rym yn unol â darpariaeth sydd i'w gwneud gan Weinidogion Cymru drwy orchymyn. Mae is-adran (4) yn gwneud darpariaeth y caiff gorchymyn o dan is-adran (3) wneud darpariaeth i ddarpariaethau’r Mesur ddod i rym ar ddiwrnodau gwahanol at ddibenion gwahanol.
