1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Occupational Pension Schemes and Pension Protection Fund (Amendment) Regulations 2005 and shall come into force on 1st April 2005 immediately after regulation 2 of the Entry Rules Regulations comes into force.
(2) In these Regulations—
“the Act” means the Pensions Act 2004;
“the Compensation Regulations” means the Pension Protection Fund (Compensation) Regulations 2005(1);
“the Employer Debt Regulations” means the Occupational Pension Schemes (Employer Debt) Regulations 2005(2);
“the Entry Rules Regulations” means the Pension Protection Fund (Entry Rules) Regulations 2005(3);
“the Multi-employer Regulations” means the Pension Protection Fund (Multi-employer Schemes) (Modification) Regulations 2005(4);
“the Review and Reconsideration Regulations” means the Pension Protection Fund (Review and Reconsideration of Reviewable Matters) Regulations 2005(5);
“the Reviewable Ill Health Pensions Regulations” means the Pension Protection Fund (Reviewable Ill Health Pensions) Regulations 2005(6); and
“the Valuation Regulations” means the Pension Protection Fund (Valuation) Regulations 2005(7).
