Territorial Extent and Application
13.The Small Charitable Donations Act 2012 extends to the whole of the UK.
14.The Act includes a provision to make the scheme an excepted matter for the purposes of the Northern Ireland devolution settlement. A legislative consent motion was approved by the Northern Ireland Assembly on the 20 November 2012 providing consent for the UK Parliament to proceed with the Act and also to amend Schedule 2 to the Northern Ireland Act 1998 to make the scheme an excepted matter.
15.This Act does not contain any provisions falling within the terms of the Sewel Convention.
16.In relation to Wales, the Act does not relate to devolved matters or confer functions on the Welsh Ministers.
