Paragraph 2: House of Commons Disqualification Act 1975 (c.24)

301.Paragraph 2 repeals the section of Part III of schedule 1 to the House of Commons Disqualification Act 1975 which relates to the Water Industry Commissioner. This specifies offices the holders of which are disqualified from being a member of the House of Commons. Since the Water Industry Commissioner is replaced by the Water Industry Commission under the Act, the reference to the Water Industry Commissioner needs to be removed.
