For section eleven of the M1Industrial AssuranceAct, 1923, the following section shall be substituted :—
“(1)This Act shall not apply to a juvenile society within the meaning ofthis section notwithstanding that premiums of the juvenile members ofthe society are recieved by means of collectors, if and so long as nopremiums of any members of the society who are not juvenile membersare so received.
“(2)For the purposes of this section the expression ’juvenile society’means a registered friendly society or branch which consists wholly orin part of juvenile members, and which is a branch of, or is shown tothe satisfaction of the commissioner to be connected with, a friendlysociety registered before the seventh day of June, nineteen hundredand twenty-three, and the expression ’juvenile member’means a memberunder the age of eighteen years.

This Act may be cited as the Industrial Assurance (Juvenile Societies) Act 1926, and shall be construed as one with the M2Industrial Assurance Act 1923, and that Act and this Act may be cited together as the Industrial Assurance Acts 1923 and 1926.
