Supporting the Prime Minister’s Office closely in ensuring the delivery of Government objectives The offices of the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister for the Cabinet Office and other Cabinet Office Ministers, the Parliamentary Secretary, Lord Privy Seal and the Government Chief Whip; the Parliamentary Counsel; Secretariat to the Cabinet; the central management of, and delivery of services to, the Civil Service and wider public sector; delivery of the modernisation of government programme and civil service reform; cross-departmental IT systems; co-ordination of cross-cutting issues including social exclusion and women’s and equality issues; the Deputy Prime Minister’s chairmanship of Ministerial Committees; grants-in-aid to the Equal Opportunities Commission and certain not-for-profit organisations; providing for the administration of the Government Offices; emergency planning; certain other services; and associated non-cash items.	314,326,000	57,843,000
