This is the original version (as it was originally enacted).
The powers of the trustees under the Third Schedule to the House of Commons Members' Fund Act, 1939 (which relates to the investment of the fund) shall include power to deposit money at interest with any local authority authorised to accept money so deposited under section three of the Local Authorities (Financial Provisions) Act, 1921, section two hundred and fifteen of the Local Government Act, 1933, section one hundred and thirty-nine of the London Government Act, 1939, section two hundred and sixty of the Local Government (Scotland) Act, 1947, section twelve of the Local Government (Finance) Act (Northern Ireland), 1948, or any corresponding local enactment (including any such enactment of the Parliament of Northern Ireland), and to withdraw and otherwise deal with money so deposited.
