18 Furnishing, on appeal, of documents relating to trial

In the case of every appeal, or application for leave to appeal, under this Part of this Act to the Court against a conviction by a naval court-martial, it shall be the duty of the Admiralty to furnish to the registrar, in accordance with rules of court, the proceedings of the court-martial and any petition presented by the person convicted, and in the case of every such appeal or application for leave to appeal as aforesaid against a conviction by an army or air-force court-martial it shall be the duty of the Judge Advocate General to furnish to the registrar, in accordance with rules of court, the proceedings of the court-martial (including any proceedings with respect to the revision of the finding or sentence of the court-martial in pursuance of subsection (2) of section fifty-four of the Army Act or subsection (2) of section fifty-four of the Air Force Act, as the case may be) the proceedings with respect to the confirmation of the finding and sentence of the court-martial and any petition presented by the person convicted.
