Every incorporated Joint Stock Company carrying on the Business of a Master Gunmaker or Master Gun Barrel Maker in or within Ten Miles of F1...Birmingham, and rated to the Relief of the Poor in respect of the Premises where such Business is carried on upon an annual Value of not less than Seventy-five Pounds, may, by Resolution of its Board of Directors, in the Month of January or February in every Year, appoint Two of the Directors and the Secretary of the Company, or Three of the Directors, to represent such Company on the Register of the Birmingham Gun Trade; and upon the Law Clerk of the Guardians receiving a Copy of such Resolution, certified under the Hand of the Secretary or a Director and the Common Seal of the Company, each of the Persons so appointed shall for the Purposes of this Act be entitled to be registered as a Member of the Birmingham Gun Trade for One Year: Provided always, that if the Name of any Person shall appear twice or oftener in or upon any Register of the Birmingham Gun Trade, although in respect of different Qualifications, such Person shall not be entitled to more than One Vote.
