Settlement of disputes
12Any dispute arising in respect of this Agreement shall be referred to and be settled by a single arbitrator to be agreed between the parties or failing agreement to be appointed on the application of either of them by the President of the Law Society and subject as aforesaid the provisions of the Arbitration Act 1996 or any statutory modification or re-enactment of it shall apply to such arbitration and the costs of such arbitrator shall be met by the parties in accordance with the decision of such arbitrator and failing any such decision equally between the parties.
