Explanatory Note
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order designates the persons set out in the Schedule as relevant regulatory authorities for the purposes of the Nature Conservation (Scotland) Act 2004(1).
Article 2(2) provides that the designation of local authorities as relevant regulatory authorities does not relate to their function of granting planning permissions under Part III of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997(2).
