An earlier Commencement Order, S.R. 2009 No. 172 (C.11), provided for the coming into operation, on 1st June 2009, of the following provisions of the Public Authorities (Reform) Act (Northern Ireland) 2009—
(a)section 1 and parts 1 and 2 of Schedule 1 relating to the abolition of the Fisheries Conservancy Board for Northern Ireland and transfer of its functions to the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure; and
(b)sections 3, 5 and 6 and Schedule 3 relating to repeals of statutory provisions except to the extent that they relate to the Disability Living Allowance Advisory Board for Northern Ireland and Enterprise Ulster.
