The Street Works (Reinstatement) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2006

Amendment

2.—(1) The Street Works (Reinstatement) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1998(1) shall be amended as provided by paragraphs (2) to (6).

(2) In regulation 1(2), for the definition of “the Code” substitute the following —

““the Code” means the Code of Practice entitled “Specification for the Reinstatement of Openings in Roads (2nd Edition)” dated July 2006 and approved by the Department on 1st September 2006 as revised or re-issued from time to time;”.

(3) In the Table to regulation 3(2) —

(a) for the words in column 3 of item 2, substitute “Paragraphs S2.6.3, S2.6.4”; and

(b) for the words in column 3 of item 10, substitute “Paragraph S12.4”.

(4) In the Table to regulation 3(3) for the words in column 3 of item 2, substitute “Paragraphs S2.2.1, S2.3.1, S2.4.1, S2.4.3, S2.6.2”.

(5) In regulation 6, for the words “paragraphs 1.6, 1.7.1 and 1.7.2” substitute “paragraphs S1.6 and S1.7”.

(6) In regulation 7, for the words “paragraphs 1.7.1 and 1.7.2” substitute “paragraph S1.7”.
