Appointed days and extent

This section has no associated Executive Note

2.  The days appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005 are–

(a)30th June 2006, for–

(i)paragraphs 1 to 6 and 8 to 14 of Schedule 15 (Private Security Industry Act 2001(1): Scottish extent) so far as they extend to Scotland; and

(ii)section 171(1), so far as relating to those paragraphs in their extent to Scotland; and

(b)6th July 2006, for–

(i)paragraphs 1 to 7 and 10 to 14 of Schedule 15 (Private Security Industry Act 2001: Scottish extent) so far as they extend to England and Wales;

(ii)paragraph 8 so far as it extends to England and Wales, for the purpose of making regulations;

(iii)section 171(1), so far as relating to those paragraphs in their extent to England and Wales; and

(iv)section 171(2) (Private Security Industry Act 2001: Scottish extent).
