Passport No: SE-011697 (Afghan passport number issued on 25 Jan. 1988 in Kabul, expired on 23 Feb. 2000 ). Date of UN designation : 25.1.2001 .

Other information: Involved in drug trafficking as of 2011, primarily through Gerd-e-Jangal, Afghanistan. Active in the provinces of Khost, Paktia and Paktika, Afghanistan as of May 2007. Taliban Governor of Kandahar as of May 2007. Deputy to Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar in the Taliban Supreme Council as of 2009. Taliban official responsible for four southern provinces of Afghanistan. Following the arrest of Mullah Baradar in February 2010 he was temporarily-in-charge of the Taliban Supreme Council. Believed to be in Afghanistan/Pakistan border area. Belongs to Ishaqzai tribe. Review pursuant to Security Council Resolution 1822 (2008) was concluded on 21 Jul. 2010 . Reportedly killed in May 2016. Akhtar Mohammad Mansour Shah Mohammed is a prominent member of the Taliban leadership. He was repatriated to Afghanistan in September 2006 following detention in Pakistan. He is involved in drug trafficking and was active in the provinces of Khost, Paktia and Paktika in Afghanistan as of May 2007. He was also the Taliban Governor of Kandahar as of May 2007.

He was actively involved in anti-governmental activity, in particular, recruiting individuals for the Taliban to fight against the Afghan Government and International Security Assistance Force.

Akhtar Mohammad Mansour Shah Mohammed was the deputy chief of the supreme Taliban shura as at mid- 2009. He serves as a member of the Taliban leadership council and was assigned to be Chief of Military Affairs of the Taliban Gerdi Jangal Council before being appointed as a deputy to Mohammed Omar in March 2010. As at 2010 Akhtar Mohammad Mansour Shah Mohammed was directly responsible for Taliban activities in four provinces of southern Afghanistan and was appointed as the head of the Taliban civilian shura as at early 2010. Akhtar Mohammad Mansour Shah Mohammed was a deputy to Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Abdul Ahmad Turk in the Taliban Supreme Council as of 2009.
