8Etholiadau a chynghorwyr

Caiff rheoliadau uno gynnwys darpariaeth—

(a)sy’n dileu etholiad cyffredin ar gyfer cynghorwyr i’r awdurdodau sy’n uno ac yn ymestyn tymhorau swyddi presennol cynghorwyr;

(b)sy’n datgymhwyso am gyfnod penodedig ddarpariaethau sy’n ei gwneud yn ofynnol llenwi lleoedd gwag achlysurol ar gyfer swydd cynghorydd yn unrhyw un o’r awdurdodau sy’n uno;

(c)sy’n pennu dyddiad yr etholiad cyffredin cyntaf ar gyfer cynghorwyr i’r prif awdurdod lleol yn y brif ardal newydd a thymhorau swyddi cynghorwyr a etholir yn yr etholiad hwnnw;

(d)sy’n gohirio etholiad cyffredin ar gyfer cynghorwyr i gynghorau cymuned yn y brif ardal newydd ac yn ymestyn tymhorau swyddi presennol cynghorwyr.
