Amount of registration fee payableE+W

4.—(1) The registration fee payable for the year commencing on 1 April 2017 and ending on 31 March 2018 and each subsequent year is—

(a)£46 per year for a school teacherM1;

(b)£46 per year for a school learning support workerM2;

(c)£46 per year for a further education teacherM3;

(d)£46 per year for a further education learning support workerM4;

(e)£46 per year for a youth workerM5;

(f)£46 per year for a youth support workerM6;

(g)£46 per year for a work based learning practitionerM7;

[F1(h)£46 per year for an independent school teacherM8;

(i)£46 per year for an independent school learning support workerM9;

(j)£46 per year for an independent special post-16 institution teacherM10;

(k)£46 per year for an independent special post-16 institution learning support workerM11.]

[F2(l)£46 per year for an adult learning practitionerM12;

(m)£46 per year for a further education principal or senior leaderM13.]

(2) The fee payable pursuant to paragraph (1) is to be subsidised by such amount as may be determined by the Welsh Ministers from time to time.

(3) The amount of any subsidy determined by the Welsh Ministers in accordance with paragraph (2) must be published on the Welsh Government website.

(4) Where a person applies to be registered or is registered in more than one category of registration—

(a)only one category of registration fee is payable; and

(b)the category of registration fee payable is the higher of those fees after taking into account any subsidy determined pursuant to paragraph (2).
