Mae’r Gorchymyn hwn yn diwygio ymhellach Orchymyn Ymddiriedolaeth Gwasanaeth Iechyd Gwladol Felindre (Sefydlu) 1993 er mwyn diwygio swyddogaethau Ymddiriedolaeth Gwasanaeth Iechyd Gwladol Felindre.
Mae Gorchymyn Ymddiriedolaeth Gwasanaeth Iechyd Gwladol Felindre (Sefydlu) 1993 wedi ei ddiwygio er mwyn rhoi i Ymddiriedolaeth Gwasanaeth Iechyd Gwladol Felindre y swyddogaeth o reoli a gweinyddu Cynllun Cymorth Gwaed Heintiedig (yn unol â chyfarwyddydau a roddir gan Weinidogion Cymru) i ddarparu cymorth ariannol a gwasanaethau cynghori i bersonau, neu mewn cysylltiad â phersonau, sydd wedi eu heintio â hepatitis C a/neu HIV o ganlyniad i gael gwaed neu gynhyrchion gwaed heintiedig yn ystod triniaeth gan y gwasanaeth iechyd gwladol yng Nghymru.
