Mae adran 21 o Ddeddf y Gwasanaethau Tân ac Achub 2004 (“y Ddeddf”) yn ei gwneud yn ofynnol i Weinidogion Cymru baratoi Fframwaith Cenedlaethol Tân ac Achub (“y Fframwaith”), sy'n gorfod gosod blaenoriaethau ac amcanion ar gyfer awdurdodau tân ac achub yng Nghymru ac yn cael darparu canllawiau. Rhaid i'r awdurdodau tân ac achub roi sylw i'r Fframwaith wrth gyflawni eu swyddogaethau.

Mae erthygl 2 o'r Gorchymyn hwn yn rhoi Fframwaith Cenedlaethol Tân ac Achub Cymru 2012 yn lle Fframwaith Cenedlaethol Tân ac Achub Cymru 2008-2011.

Bydd Fframwaith Cenedlaethol Tân ac Achub Cymru 2012 yn cael effaith o 20 Ebrill 2012 ymlaen. Gellir cael copïau o Fframwaith Cenedlaethol Tân ac Achub Cymru 2012 gan y Gangen Tân a Lluoedd Arfog, Llywodraeth Cymru, Rhyd-y-car, Merthyr Tudful, CF48 1UZ. Fe'i cyhoeddwyd ar wefan Llywodraeth Cymru (http://wales.gov.uk/topics/housingandcommunity/safety/publications/framework2012?lang=cy) ar 27 Mawrth 2012.

Ystyriwyd Cod Ymarfer Gweinidogion Cymru ar wneud Asesiadau Effaith Rheoleiddiol mewn perthynas â'r Gorchymyn hwn. O ganlyniad, paratowyd asesiad effaith rheoleiddiol o'r costau a'r buddiannau sy'n debygol o ddeillio o gydymffurfio â'r Gorchymyn hwn. Gellir cael copi gan y Gangen Tân a Lluoedd Arfog, Llywodraeth Cymru, Rhyd-y-car, Merthyr Tudful, CF48 1UZ neu drwy ffonio 0300 062 8254.
