Mae'r Gorchymyn hwn yn diwygio Gorchymyn Ymddiriedolaeth Gwasanaeth Iechyd Gwladol Felindre (Sefydlu) 1993 (y prif Orchymyn) ymhellach er mwyn diwygio ei swyddogaethau a chynyddu nifer ei gyfarwyddwyr anweithredol.
Mae'r Gorchymyn yn estyn swyddogaethau'r ymddiriedolaeth i gynnwys swyddogaeth rheoli gwasanaethau sy'n ymwneud â thechnoleg gwybodaeth, gwybodaeth iechyd, telathrebu a rhagnodi a dosbarthu.
Mae'r Gorchymyn hwn yn diwygio'r prif Orchymyn ymhellach drwy gynyddu nifer y cyfarwyddwyr anweithredol o 4 i 6.
