Mae'r Rheoliadau hyn, sy'n gymwys i Gymru yn unig, yn ychwanegu crancod at y mathau o bysgod cregyn sy'n dod o dan adran 1(1) o Ddeddf Pysgodfeydd Môr (Pysgod Cregyn) 1967 (“Deddf 1967”). Mae hyn yn ei gwneud hi'n bosibl i sefydlu pysgodfeydd crancod unigol neu bysgodfeydd crancod wedi'u rheoleiddio drwy orchmynion o dan yr adran honNo.
Pennwyd cregyn bylchog a chwiniaid at ddiben adran 1 o Ddeddf 1967 gan Reoliadau Pysgod Cregyn (Dynodi Molysgiaid) 1987 (O.S. 1987/218).
