(Nid yw'r nodyn hwn yn rhan o'r Gorchymyn)
O dan Ran VII o Ddeddf Tai 1996 (“Deddf 1996”), mae ar yr awdurdodau tai lleol ddyletswydd i ddarparu llety ar gyfer y rhai sy'n ddigartref, yn gymwys i gael cymorth, ac arnynt angen blaenoriaethol.
Mae adran 189 o Ddeddf 1996 yn nodi disgrifiadau o bersonau y mae arnynt angen blaenoriaethol ac mae hefyd yn rhoi pŵ er i Gynulliad Cenedlaethol Cymru bennu rhagor o ddisgrifiadau.
Mae'r Gorchymyn hwn yn pennu rhagor o ddisgrifiadau o bersonau y mae arnynt angen blaenoriaethol:
person sy'n ymadael â gofal neu berson sydd mewn perygl neilltuol o ecsbloetio rhywiol neu ariannol, ac sy'n 18 oed neu drosodd ond o dan 21 oed (erthygl 3)
person 16 neu 17 oed (erthygl 4)
person sy'n ffoi rhag trais yn y cartref neu rhag bygythiad trais yn y cartref (erthygl 5)
person sydd heb lety ar ôl ymadael â'r lluoedd arfog (erthygl 6)
cyn-garcharor sydd heb lety ar ôl cael ei ryddhau o'r ddalfa (erthygl 7).
