Mae'r Rheoliadau hyn, sy'n gymwys i Gymru yn unig, yn diwygio ymhellach ar Reoliadau Lliwiau mewn Bwyd 1995, sy'n gymwys i Brydain Fawr.
Mae rheoliad 3 yn diweddaru cyfeiriad at Gyfarwyddeb 95/45/EC ynghylch purdeb penodol er mwyn ymdrin â'r diwygiad i'r Gyfarwyddeb honno a wnaed gan Gyfarwyddeb 2001/50/EC o ran y manylebau ar gyfer carotenau cymysg a beta-caroten.
Mae rheoliad 4 yn diweddaru cyfeiriadau at Reoliadau 1995 yn Rheoliadau Jam a Chynhyrchion Tebyg 1981, Rheoliadau Cynhyrchion Cig a Chynhyrchion Pysgod Taenadwy 1984, Rheoliadau Labelu Ychwanegion Bwyd 1992, Rheoliadau Ychwanegion Bwyd Amrywiol 1995 a Rheoliadau Labelu Bwyd 1996.
Nid oes arfarniad rheoliadol yn unol ag adran 65 o Ddeddf Llywodraeth Cymru 1998 wedi'i wneud mewn perthynas â'r Rheoliadau hyn.
