The Office for Students, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 42(1) of the Higher Education and Research Act 2017(1), makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Power to Award Degrees etc. (College of Legal Practice Limited) Order 2021 and shall come into force on 1st February 2022.
2. College of Legal Practice Limited (also known as The College of Legal Practice), shall be competent to grant the following specified taught awards of the kind mentioned in section 42(2)(b) of the said Act:
(a)Master of Law in Legal Practice;
(b)Master of Science in Legal Practice;
(c)Master of Business Administration in Legal Practice;
(d)Postgraduate Certificate in Legal Practice; and
(e)Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
3. College of Legal Practice Limited shall only be competent to grant the awards specified in article 2 of this Order for a fixed term beginning on 1st February 2022 and expiring on 30th April 2025.
4. College of Legal Practice Limited shall only grant the awards specified in article 2 of this Order to persons enrolled with it at the time they complete the course of study for which the award is granted.

This Order, made under section 42(1) of the Higher Education and Research Act 2017 authorises College of Legal Practice Limited with the power to award specified taught awards for a three-year and three-month fixed term expiring on 30th April 2025. This Order will come into force on 1st February 2022.
