1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Street and Road Works (Amendments Relating to Electronic Communications) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2020.
(2) These Regulations come into force on 30th March 2020.
2.—(1) The Street and Road Works (Amendments Relating to Electronic Communications) (England) Regulations 2020(3) are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 1(2) for “April” substitute “July”.
(3) In regulation 2—
(a)in paragraph (3) for “31st March” substitute “30th June”;
(b)in paragraph (4)(a) for “of April” substitute “July”;
(c)in paragraph (4)(b) for “May” substitute “August”;
(d)in paragraph (5) for “April” in both places it occurs substitute “July”;
(e)in paragraph (5)(c) for “May” substitute “August”;
(f)in paragraph (6) for “30th April” substitute “31st July”.

These Regulations make amendments to the Street and Road Works (Amendments Relating to Electronic Communications) (England) Regulations 2020 (S.I. 2020/122). The amendments change the date on which those Regulations come into force, and make related amendments to the transitional provisions.
A full impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no, or no significant, impact on the private, voluntary or public sector is foreseen.

1991 c. 22. The 1991 Act was amended by section 256 of, and Schedule 31 to, the Transport Act 2000 (c. 38), sections 40, 49, 51, 52, 54 and 64 of, and Schedule 1 to, the Traffic Management 2004 (c. 18) and section 1 of, and Schedule 1 to, the Infrastructure Act 2015 (c. 7). Schedule 3A to the 1991 Act was inserted by paragraph 1 of Schedule 4 to the Traffic Management Act 2004.
2004 c. 18. Section 37(1) was amended by paragraphs 4 and 9(1) and (2)(a) of Schedule 10 to the Deregulation Act 2015 (c. 20).
