This Order revokes and replaces the Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) (Fees) (England) Order 2007 (S.I. 2007/2203).
The Order with effect from 6th April 2008 amends the fee for testing for approval for use for—
(a)diseases of poultry (if one dilution rate is requested) from £923 to £950;
(b)diseases of poultry (if three dilution rates are requested) from £1,257 to £1,290;
(c)tuberculosis (if one dilution rate is requested) from £1,183 to £1,210;
(d)foot-and-mouth disease from £750 to £1,490;
(e)swine vesicular disease from £750 to £1,490; and
(f)all other instances where there is a legislative requirement to use an approved disinfectant (if one dilution rate is requested) from £645 to £660.
The Order introduces a new fee for testing for approval for use for—
(a)tuberculosis (if three dilution rates are requested) which is £1,510; and
(b)all other instances where there is a legislative requirement to use an approved disinfectant (if three dilution rates are requested) which is £760.
The Order also amends the fee for administrative services from £134 to £1,650.
A full impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as a minimal impact on the private or voluntary sectors is foreseen.
