In exercise of the powers conferred by section 103(3) of the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000(1), the Secretary of State makes the following Order.
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 (Commencement No. 13) Order 2007.
(2) In this Order, “the Act” means the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000.
(3) This Order applies in relation to England only.
2. 1st October 2007 is the day appointed for the coming into force of paragraph 4 of Schedule 6 to the Act and section 57 of the Act (creation, diversion and stopping up of highways), in so far as it gives effect to that paragraph.

This Order brings into force on 1st October 2007, in relation to England, paragraph 4 of Schedule 6 to the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 (“the 2000 Act”) and section 57 of that Act in so far as it relates to that paragraph.
Paragraph 4 of Schedule 6 to the 2000 Act inserts section 31A of the Highways Act 1980 (c. 66) (“the 1980 Act”) which makes provision relating to registers to be kept by local authorities in relation to maps, statements and declarations deposited or lodged under section 31(6) of the 1980 Act concerning dedicated highways.
