The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 45(1)(1), 57(1) and 58(1) of the Goods Vehicles (Licensing of Operators) Act 1995(2), and after consultation with representative organisations in accordance with section 57(12) of that Act, hereby makes the following Regulations:—
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Goods Vehicles (Licensing of Operators) (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2002 and shall come into force on 1st December 2002.
2. The Schedule to the Goods Vehicles (Licensing of Operators) (Fees) Regulations 1995(3) shall be amended by substituting:
(a)in fee number (i) “£168” for “£160”;
(b)in fees numbers (ii) and (iii) “£263” for “£250”;
(c)in fee number (iv) “£44” for “£42”;
(d)in fees numbers (v) and (vi) “£7.25” for “£7”; and
(e)in fees number (v) and (vi) “£9” for “£8.50”.

These Regulations increase the fees which are payable under the Goods Vehicles (Licensing of Operators) (Fees) Regulations 1995 and have not been increased since those Regulations came into force on 1st January 1996.
The changes are as follows:

| b) if paid annually in advance | £8.50 | £9 |
