The Secretary of State, in pursuance of sections 22(4) and 51 of the Gaming Act 1968(1), and after consultation with the Gaming Board of Great Britain, hereby makes the following Regulations:
1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Gaming Clubs (Hours and Charges) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2000 and shall come into force on 14th August 2000.
(2) These Regulations do not extend to Scotland.
2. In regulation 4(1) of the Gaming Clubs (Hours and Charges) Regulations 1984(2) for “four” there shall be substituted “six”.

These Regulations amend the Gaming Clubs (Hours and Charges) Regulations 1984 in order to permit the extension of casino weekday opening hours from 4 a.m. until 6 a.m.
