The Road Traffic (Special Parking Areas) (London Borough of Lambeth) (Amendment) Order 1995

Amendment of principal order

3.—(1) The principal order shall be amended as follows.

(2) In article 2—

(a) in paragraph (1) for the third unnumbered sub-paragraph there shall besubstituted—

• “a reference to the Schedule is a reference to the Schedule to thisOrder;”

(b) in paragraph (1) for the words “Schedule 3”, in the two places wherethose words occur, there shall be substituted “the Schedule”;

(c) in paragraph (1) for the words “that Schedule” there shall besubstituted “the Schedule”; and

(d) paragraphs (2) and (3) shall be omitted.

(3) For article 3 there shall be substituted—

“3.— (1) The Secretary of State hereby designates the London borough of Lambethexcept the roads named or described in the Schedule as a special parking area.

(2) A reference in the following provisions of this Order to the specialparking area is a reference to the area designated by this article.”

(4) For the words “an area” in article 4(1)(b), there shall besubstituted “the area”.

(5) For the words “a special parking area” in article 4(2), article 5(1),article 5(2) (in the first place where those words occur), article 5(4) andarticle 5(5) there shall in each case be substituted “the special parkingarea”.

(6) For Schedule 1 there shall be substituted the Schedule set out in theSchedule to this order.

(7) Schedules 2 and 3 shall be omitted.
