Such part of the London extension of the former Great Central Railway in the county of Nottinghamshire, borough of Rushcliffe, parishes of Ruddington and East Leake as comprises so much of the Railway (No.1) described in and authorised by the Manchester, Sheffield and Lincolnshire Railway (Extension to London & c.) Act 1893(1) (as altered pursuant to section 4 of the Manchester, Sheffield and Lincolnshire Railway Act 1894(2)) as extends from a point in the parish of Ruddington 152 metres north of the northern parapet of the footbridge over the railway known as 50 Steps Bridgc for a distance of 4,458 metres to a point in the parish of East Leake in the vicinity of the British Gypsum works 332 metres north of the northern parapet of the bridge (Bridge No.307) carrying the C33 road from East Leake to Bunny.
