The Occupational Pensions Board (Determinations and Review Procedure) Regulations 1976(1)

3.—(1) The Occupational Pensions Board (Determinations and Review Procedure)

Regulations 1976 shall be amended as follows—

(2) In regulation 1(2)—

(a) in the definition of “the Act” for “Social Security Act 1973” substitute “Pension Schemes Act 1993”;

(b) in the definition of “money purchase contracted-out scheme” for “the Social Security Pensions Act 1975” substitute “section 181(1) of the Act”;

(c) omit the definiion of “the Northern Ireland Order”;

(d) insert the following definition—

““the Northern Ireland Act” means the Pension Schemes (Northern Ireland) Act 1993”;

(e) omit the definition of “trade union recognised to any extent”.

(3) In regulations 2(6), 3(7)

and 4(1) for “section 67” and “Article 62 of the Northern Ireland Order” substitute respectively “section 172” and “section 167 of the Northern Ireland Act”.
