Bodies prescribed under section 177(1)
19. The following bodies are prescribed in accordance with section 177(1)(f) of the 1972 Act(1)–
(a)the Peak Park Joint Planning Board;
(b)the Lake District Special Planning Board;
(c)a combined police authority;
(d)a joint education committee established under paragraph 3 of Part II of Schedule 1 to the Education Act 1944,(2) of which the members are not all representatives of local authorities; and
(e)the Cheshire Brine Subsidence Compensation Board.

The substitution of section 177(1) by paragraph 28(2) of Schedule 11 to the Local Government and Housing Act 1989 is subject to the saving in the Local Government and Housing Act 1989 (Commencement No. 11 and Savings) Order 1991 (S.I. 1991/344).
