The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council
Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 20(2) of the Administration of Justice Act 1965 and all other powers enabling Her Majesty, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:—
1. This Order may be cited as the County Courts (Administration Order Jurisdiction) Order 1981 and shall come into operation on 1st October 1981.
2. In section 148(1) and (3) of the County Courts Act 1959(1), for the sum of £2,000 inserted by the County Courts (Administration Order Jurisdiction) Order 1977 there shall be substituted the sum of £5,000.

This Order increases the jurisdiction of county courts to make administration orders by raising from £2,000 to £5,000 the limit on the total indebtedness of a debtor in respect of whom an order may be made.
