In this Act unless the context otherwise requires—
“voluntary hospital” means an institution (not being an institution which is carried on for profit or which is maintained wholly or mainly at the expense of the rates [F1or which is vested in an NHS trust[F2 , an NHS foundation trust ] [F3or a Primary Care Trust]][F4or which is vested in [F5the Secretary of State)]] which provides medical or surgical treatment for in-patients;
“committee of management” includes any body or persons having the management or control of a voluntary hospital
[F6“ NHS trust ” means a National Health Service trust established under [F7the National Health Service Act 2006 or the National Health Service (Wales) Act 2006]];
“Order” means an Order made by the [F8Charity Commission] for any of the purposes specified in subsection (1) of section two of this Act.
[F9 “ Primary Care Trust ” means a Primary Care Trust established under [F10section 18 of the National Health Service Act 2006]. ]
