This is the original version (as it was originally enacted).
(1)A notice of title expede in terms of this Act shall be equivalent to a notarial instrument expede according to the present law and practice, and the provisions of section one hundred and forty-six of the Titles to Land Consolidation (Scotland) Act, 1868, shall apply to such notice of title.
(2)The stamp duty chargeable on any such notice of title shall be the same as that chargeable in respect of any notarial instrument to be expede and recorded in any Register or Sasines.
