The Secretary of State, the Rt Hon Chris Heaton-Harris MP is of the view that the Act as introduced into the House of Commons does not contain provision which, if enacted, would be environmental law for the purposes of section 20 of the Environment Act 2021. Accordingly, no statement under that section has been made.
